Joel Frye is an associate in the Quinlivan & Hughes' Insurance Defense Litigation Group. His practice focuses on zealously advocating for his clients primarily in the areas of Automobile, Premises and Government Liability. Joel also takes a special interest in appellate work and has an active involvement in the appeal process. Whether he is drafting a brief or arguing a motion, Joel is passionate and energetic about the law and the interests of his clients.
Joel is a graduate of Hamline University School of Law, and a graduate of the University of Minnesota. Joel served as a judicial law clerk to Second Judicial District Court Judge J. Thomas Mott, and First Judicial District Court Judge Thomas G. McCarthy, before joining Quinlivan & Hughes in 2007. He is licensed to practice in the District Courts of Minnesota and has made numerous appearances on behalf of clients. Joel is an active member of the Minnesota State Bar Association as well as the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association.
