Mr. Hoefs is originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He first came to Central Minnesota in pursuit of his education at St. John’s Prep and St. John’s University. In 1989 he returned to the area as Executive Director/C.E.O. of Central Minnesota Group Health Plan until 1997.
Mr. Hoefs then attended William Mitchell College of Law to develop a practice focused on health care, business, employment, mediation and non-profit organization issues.
He was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in 2001 and the U.S. District Court in 2003. Mr. Hoefs is an "Of Counsel" private practice attorney with Quinlivan & Hughes, P.A. of St. Cloud, Minnesota.
