Our firm has handled and continues to handle the defense of very large losses. Among the mass tort cases that we have brought or defended are the following:
Feed Storage Litigation
This litigation involved claims brought against silo manufacturers for loss of silage allegedly resulting from the negligence and alleged fraud of the silo manufacturer and distributor. Our firm handled a dozen such cases across Minnesota. Hudson, Wisconsin
Landfill Litigation
This litigation involved defense of a landfill contamination claim made by the State of Wisconsin against our client and others. The case eventually involved a claim for indemnity brought by our client against hundreds of parties as well as insurance coverage claims that were resolved through mediation.
Horse Confinement Facility
This litigation involved a horse confinement facility with allegedly $20,000,000.00 in horses, horse semen and personal property. We represented a product manufacturer.
Food Contamination
We've represented several cases involving food contamination. One such case involved feed supplement intentional contamination by a disgruntled tenant. The feed was shipped throughout the Midwest.
Swimming Pools
We have represented several private and municipal swimming pool owners in defense of brain injury and death cases.
