Experience
Our lawyers offer experience that few firms can match. No firm has had as many of its lawyers serve as officers of the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association as our lawyers. In 2000-01 one of our lawyers served as the chair of the Civil Litigation Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association. This kind of experience and prominence in the defense community gives Quinlivan & Hughes attorneys resources that few firms can match.
Geography
Minnesota is the 14th largest state. Geography therefore becomes an important part of handling Minnesota claims efficiently. Quinlivan & Hughes is located in central Minnesota and therefore poised to easily serve a large geographic area. We have offices in St. Cloud and Little Falls. We have ongoing cases in every judicial district of the state and routinely handle federal court matters throughout the state. Our firm's locations permit Quinlivan & Hughes attorneys to handle most of the geographic area of Minnesota more efficiently than Twin Cities counsel.
Technology
Quinlivan & Hughes has made a substantial capital investment in legal technology through the years. We use Microsoft Office products and supplement this with state-of-the-art case management software. Quinlivan & Hughes uses technological advances to handle its claims more efficiently without forcing technology on companies and insureds that wish a different approach. Quinlivan & Hughes attorneys, paralegals and secretaries can email, fax and send scanned images from their desks. Color images of photographs can be sent and received. Copies of orders can be transmitted when received rather than mailed. We can easily email or fax all correspondence rather than send it by ordinary mail if the company or insureds desires this. All our attorneys have voicemail. Our technology permits us to save on expense in the following ways: emailing documents requires no postage; scanning of photographs permits us to send images without film processing; faster communication results in a shorter time that the matter will be pending, something that many insurers contend results in savings to the insurer. Quinlivan & Hughes is committed to using new methods to increase efficiencies and reduce costs. Technology permits cost savings.
