Quinlivan & Hughes, P.A. is pleased to announce that Jim McAlpine was elected Quinlivan & Hughes' newest shareholder at the annual Quinlivan & Hughes Shareholders meeting.

Since joining the firm in 2002, Mr. McAlpine has focused on working with clients in civil litigation defense, including primarily medical malpractice, premises liability, auto and governmental liability and land use. He has successfully argued before the Minnesota Court of Appeals and has been named a "Rising Star" by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine in 2008, 2009 and 2010.

When Jim is not hard at work, he enjoys hunting the wily and elusive Northern Wisconsin Muskie (Musky).
