The Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Theresa Ann Urbashich, age 50 of St. Anthony, will be 11:00 AM Thursday, March 18, at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in rural Albany. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Theresa died Sunday at the St. Cloud Hospital after a long battle with cancer. There will be a visitation from 4-9:00 PM Wednesday evening at the Miller-Carlin-Brenny Funeral Home in Albany and again after 10:00 AM Thursday at the church in St. Anthony. St. Anthony parish prayers will be at 5:00 PM followed by the St Anthony Christian Mothers and Catholic Aid at 7:30 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home in Albany.
Theresa was born November 5, 1959 in Sauk Centre to John Jr. “Buddy” and Mary Jane (Job)Urbashich. She attended the St. Cloud Vocational Technical Institute where she became a legal secretary. She worked at Quinlivan & Hughes Law Firm in St. Cloud as a legal secretary until her health required her to take a leave. Theresa is a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church and the St. Anthony Christian Mothers and Catholic Aid.
Theresa is survived by her parents, John “Buddy” and Mary Jane Urbashich, St. Anthony; her sisters and brother; Cindy (Brad) Johanson, Chisago City; Jim (RoxAnne) Urbashich, Holdingford; Mary (Dane) Hanslow, Nolensville, TN; and Missy (Jeff) Olmscheid, Richmond. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; Michael Urbashich, Thomas Johanson, Sarah Johanson, Lindsey Urbashich, Hailee Olmscheid, Kayla Hanslow and Noah Olmscheid; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Theresa is preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Theresa Urbashich and Ralph and Minnie Job.
