Kjellberg-Nelson was named a 2017 Rising Star by Thomson Reuters and received the Deb Oberlander Award from the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association in 2013 for her leadership, professionalism, skills, and advocacy in the practice of law.

Kjellberg-Nelson practices in the area of civil litigation, with a focus on employment and governmental liability. She joined Quinlivan & Hughes in June 2008 as a law clerk before being admitted to the Minnesota Bar in October 2009 and becoming an associate of the firm in January 2010.

Kjellberg-Nelson attended the University of St. Thomas School of Law and Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota.
