Biography
Greg joined the Quinlivan and Hughes team in August of 2021 and works primarily as a member of the Trusts and Estates team. His practice focuses on transactional matters. He grew up as a son to two teachers. His professional approach reflects this, as he aims to provide clients with work that is straightforward, understandable, complete, and concise.
Greg was born a first-generation Cuban-American in Texas, grew up in Miami, and moved to Minnesota when starting law school. Knowing he wanted to be a lawyer from an early age, he obtained dual Bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Business Management in 2014, a Master's degree in Accounting at Florida International University in 2015, and his CPA certification in 2017 in order to understand the language of the financial matters he expected to handle.
Greg attended the University of Minnesota School of Law, graduating in 2021. While in law school, he was a part of the Tax Law and Business Law Clinics, assisting low-income families and start-up businesses with a variety of legal advice. In addition, he worked as a law clerk for an accounting firm, performing legal research to ascertain tax consequences of proposed transactions. Before law school, he worked as an auditor for private and public entities, ensuring companies' compliance with the SEC and Sarbanes Oxley Requirements.
