The Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association (MDLA) appointed Quinlivan & Hughes attorney Cally Kjellberg-Nelson to its Board of Directors. She will serve a two-year term on the state board that provides leadership and assistance for litigators across Minnesota.
Kjellberg-Nelson also was named a 2017 Rising Star Award by Thomson Reuters and earned the Deb Oberlander Award in 2013 from the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association for her leadership, professionalism, skills, and advocacy in the practice of law.
She joined Quinlivan & Hughes in 2008 as a law clerk before becoming an attorney in 2009. The focus of her growing practice is civil litigation, with an emphasis on employment and governmental liability.
The Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association, started in 1963, focuses on serving the needs of lawyers engaging primarily in the defense and trial of civil disputers.
