Covid-19 Update: “Shelter in Place” Executive Order

On Behalf of | Mar 26, 2020 | Covid-19 |

Governor Tim Walz has issued an Executive Order directing Minnesotans to stay home. Quinlivan & Hughes remains able to serve and advise our clients during this unprecedented situation and we are prepared to continue operations remotely while keeping the health of our staff and clients at the forefront.

The “Shelter in Place” order takes effect this Friday, March 27th at 11:59 p.m. and ends on Friday, April 10th at 5:00 p.m. The order limits activity for all those not engaged in “Critical Sector” work. You can find the full order here.

Our Business, Employment, and Trust & Estate attorneys have been advising clients on the implications of the many new pieces of legislation and the Executive Orders over the last two weeks. Likewise, our other legal teams have continued their work assisting clients on a wide range of other legal matters. You can visit our resource center where we have articles and information on a variety of topics related to the Covid-19 situation. If you have specific questions, please contact us.

This new order will not limit our ability to serve our clients. Our planning and technology have allowed our staff and attorneys to work remotely and stay connected to serve your needs.

Please stay safe and know that we continue to remain ready and able to help with your legal matters.

Sincerely,

Q&H Attorneys and Staff
