Returning to the Workplace: A New Normal

As our state begins to think about returning to some normalcy, guidelines for a safe return to work continue to evolve. The attorneys at Quinlivan & Hughes are equipped to assist you in drafting a Return to Work policy, whether you are legally mandated to publish one or not. Our recommended policy will be tailored to meet your organization’s special circumstances. There are a number of things you will need to consider.

We will work with you to consider:

  • logistics and your physical location
  • cleaning protocols
  • necessary supplies
  • travel recommendations
  • communication protocols.

In addition, we’ll assist you in adopting particular screening, social distancing and leave policies. We can also help you develop criteria for deciding which employees to bring back and when.

As your legal counsel, we’ll also make sure you are complying with privacy laws and employment laws, including the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act. The attached PowerPoint provides more detail about what you should consider as you prepare to re-open your workplaces.
